Bat Talk and Walk Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area, Davis CA An estimated 250,000 Mexican free-tailed bats live under the Yolo Causeway during the summer. These bats consume about 1.5 tons of insects nightly all summer long. The family friendly program begins with a presentation about bats followed by the opportunity to view live educational species native to CA.
